Meet the owners: Rachel Gilmore
Newly retired from the corporate world, but not new to running her own business, having completed her degree in Business Administration and Accounting Rachel being a Finance professional for over twenty-five years, she decided it was time to give back to the community. She moved into Gastonia and made it her home for the last ten years, so her vision was to allow local vendors to have a venue, in her brick and mortar store, to show their talents and offer this community a place to gather. Early in 2020, she let the history of the city and the building speak to her, when developing the vision for the renovation. Soon they began the collaborative research and decisions to start delicately renovating the building and getting ready to open. The community has been exactly as we hoped! We have made great friendships and partnerships and seen so much progress in downtown Gastonia, in such a short time and are looking forward to more!
Meet the Owners: Richard Gilmore
Continually working in the corporate world for over 35 years, Richard has spent time learning all the ins and outs of running and managing business. With a degree in Business Management he brings so much to the table....literally, he's providing us with fresh, in-house roasted coffees from different origins, and recently making new and innovative blends, with very memorable names.
Also, with his expertise, guidance, and hard work, the building was renovated to reflect it's historic beauty from 1920, to honor the past of Gastonia and to offer a great opportunity to focus on the growth of our community, in the future.
